Guilty Pleasure: Cam Gigandet

Cam

I’m not the biggest “Twilight” fan, but I do plan on watching the final installment of the movie franchise, “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.” The only reason I got into “Twilight” was because I ended up watching the third installment, “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.” And I’m the type of person who wants to find out the whole storyline, which involved me having to watch the first two movies of the saga, “Twilight” and “The Twilight Saga: New Moon.” Thus, I was thrown into the “Twilight” Phenomenon.

Although I am also a big fan of the team Edward vs. team Jacob Phenomenon (I’ll tell you which team I root for later on), I’m also a fan of some of the other actors in the saga. Cam Gigandet is one of them.

Before “Twilight,” Gigandet’s made his acting debut in 2003 with a guest star role as Mark Young in “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.” From there, Gigandet continued to land more television roles, including “Jack & Bobby” and “The Young and the Restless” before eventually making it to the big screen in the short indie film, “Mistaken.” He then appeared in an 15-episode-story arc in “The O. C.,” where he protrayed bad boy surfer Kevin Volchok.

Since then, Gigandet has starred alongside some of Hollywood’s top leading ladies, including Emma Stone and Lisa Kudrow in “Easy A,” Christina Aguilera and Cher in “Burlesque,” Leighton Meester and Minka kelly in “The Roommate” and Kristen Stewart in “Twilight.”

Gigandet as Jack Miller in “Burlesque.”

Gigandet as Hicks in “Priest.”

Gigandet as Stephen with co-star Minka Kelly as Sara Matthews in “The Roommate.”

Gigandet as Micah in “Easy A.”

Like most actors, Gigandet has poseed for the camera in the past. Here’s a few snippets of his modeling past.

Here’s a few shots that were taken of him at public appearance that I couldn’t help but post.

And he’s not bad to look at from behind either.

If you want to see more of Gigandet, you can catch him in a few of his new upcoming movies, including “Making Change,” “Free Ride” and “The Tin Star,” all of which are set to be released this year.
